We discussed about a shift to a reusable energy in Fukushima Prefencture.
Fukushima is trying its best to be independent on nuclear power plant by shifting to a reusable energy.
However, in order to achieve it, they have to have rows and rows of photovoltaic solar panels and aesthetics of their scenery. People living in the village are against the shift and trying to use media to declare the issue.

We also discussed about the Akasaka Palace. It mainly served as a venue for dozens of meetings between foreign dignitaries and President Abe. The most number of meetings held in a single day was 23 one-to-one talks with foreign leaders. It closed for the restoration work in 1968 and reopened in 1974. It welcomes 500,000 visitors annually.

We mainly discussed about Iki island which is getting effects of climate changes and is trying to achieve one of SDGS. People at the island are trying to galvanize us into the action of protecting the environment. What they are attempting to do are using AI to cultivate asparagus and use drones to transport them to main island, Kushu.

We mainly Carlos Ghosn escaped to Lebanon with the help of rogue employee. Carlos embezzled from Nissan and used company money for his own personal use. That's one of the reasons he was accused. It is almost sure that he is going to be found guilty in Japan.

In this class I talked about 'HANKO' related stories. Hanko or seal is customarily used in daily lives in Japan.
It 's interesting to know that the word Hanko reminds you of Hancock in your culture. Coincidence!

We discussed about the crime caused by the 88 years old woman, killing her daughter who needed nursing care. It reflected the issue of aging society. Also, we talked about tax revenue in Japan. The government's economic and tax revenue estimates are too optimistic.

We discussed about the tragedy caused by the person who used to be Administrative Vice‐Minister for Foreign Affairs. He killed his son with the kitchen knife. It is brutal to kill the son. I think this reflects the issue the 30s and the 40s are facing. A lot of them don't succeed with their careers, are staying with their parents and are pampered by their parents.

I introduced the recently held Daijo-sai and other events.
The Daijo-sai is the Great thanksgiving Service after the enthronement of an emperor.

Talked about the competition, fancy footwork. Japanese are doing well on it and fancy footwork might be included in 2024 Olympics in Paris. Also, we discussed the relationship between South Korea and Japan.

This time, we had a good discussion about aging society. The 30 percent of the population is 75 or older.
One company started a service to provide affordable residence to senior by taking over abandoned properties. If they detect any emergency, they will come and visit. More than 1 in 10 homes are empty so we need to think of taking a profitable usage of them. They should be put to better use.
