More and more vaccines are rolled out, more people tend to inoculate, but the government still doesn't clearly show a long term goal and the roadmap. India and China are attempting to create their own vaccine, but Japan doesn't. I am very depressed and shocked with that. Justice Minister Yoko Kamikawa said Japan would flexibly respond to the situation and fully take into consideration the circumstances of foreign individuals in Myanmar. We also talked about pills to cure Covid-19 drug makers are searching for. If drug makers get enough search results and evidence, they will make those pills open to us. Israel fired artillery into Gaza and had been against Hamas for 11 days, but Egypt finally proposed the halt in hostilities. At least of 232 Palestinians and 12 people in Israel have been killed in the violence. Some of attacks took place at refugee camps, hospitals and schools where Israel accuses Hamas of using human shields to try to protect its military operations. Five other prefectures such as Fukushima, Ibaraki, Kagawa, Tokushima and Nagasaki have also asked for the authority to employ limited state of emergency measures. There is argument saying whether we are on a right track to have a limited state of emergency. Since the number of coronavirus cases increase as soon as the government lifts a limited state of emergency, some experts say we need to imply more strict rules to impose fines or criminal charges for disobeying virus measures. Also we talked about a lady who succeeded in feeding wild turtles. There is also an argument that we should not keep feeding wild animals because they will be less capable of taking care of themselves. In Japan, the elderly population in nursing homes has priority for receiving vaccinations. Fortunately, my grandmother's Alzheimer hasn't progressed for a long time.
