Today I introduced my cat Shake to Katherine's cat Mei-chan. Being shy, he blushed and run away once. But after a while he came back and walked around the PC monitor, hoping to take another look at the beautiful cat. Maybe I should teach him how to strike a good conversation with a lady! |

We continued reading the book on Bob. I learned some good vocabraries such as bossy (a bossy person always tell other people what to do), cooing (speaking softly and lovingly to a baby or a pet), easing into "to become gently introduced or accosutomed to something new), jewel/diamond ( a person or thing that is treasured, esteemed). Thank you Katherine. I am looking forward to our next lesson! |

Today, to improve my speaking skills, Bryan chose an article about a road trip. Explaining the adverbs meaning time and frequency, he showed me the convenient chart of the words. I learned indefinite frequency adverbs such as occasionally, sometimes, often, reqularly, seldom, usually, frequently, infrequently, generally, nomally, always, constantly, ever, never. Definite frequency adverbs are annually, daily, hourly, monthly, nightly, quarterly, weekly, yearly, nightly...etc. There are anohter time-related words such as relationships words in time and words in time. Thank you, Bryan for enthusiastic and kind lesson. See you next time. |

Nice seeing you, Evelyn. First of the lesson, I talked about the match, Japan versus Poland. In that match, Japan stopped attacking and kept passing the ball to survive the World Cup. I accepted the strategy. I admire the decision the director of Nishino took. If the Japan team had lost the game, he would have been being accused for a long time. How many people could take that risk? If I were him, I could not. Some people are accusing him. I think those kind of people would say something if Nishino had taken another strategy and had lose the game. Thank you for your lesson today. I really enjoyted it. See you soon. Bye. |

Celina, Nice seeing you. Getting a job is difficult in Japan when you are old. Japan is going to be an aged society. I think we should change ourselves. We should consider less about the age when you employ someone. This is because younger people will be less and less in the future in Japan. Therefore, we should work longer than ever. Thank you for your lesson today. You have provided me with many pieces of information and advice. I appreciate them. I look forward to seeing you. Bye-bye. |

I felt the difficulty of converting my opinion to English sentence quickly and expressing it with correct grammar. I would like to improve through English practice exercises. Also, please do the same exercise next time. Thank you very much. |

I enjoyed talking with Mark about musicians wno are still popular even in Japan. Many of them had passed away though, their music are still attracting people in the world. But I feel disappointing to know that classocal musics are less popular than before. I wish I could know more about culture of Yk and Chec. |
