 Today we talked about my son's English learning and our language learning. We discussed why many of Filipino can speak English very well and many of Japanese cannot. She told me that one of the reason might be the structure of our mother tongue. She said grammar of Tagalog is relatively similar to that of English, but Japanese is not.
