 I can learn English through conversations about the ponds,plants,living things in his large garden in Crech.
I didn't know much about Crech aside from Prague that is said the most beautiful city in the warld.

 I'm really sorry for my late response.
We talked about the article that some European countries have passed the law banning wearing cloth which hide the face such as burka, Islamic clothing, because facial expression is one the most important value to communicate with each other in their life. That's an interesting law and I can understand it's natural. People who want to live in other countries should be integrated to the countries costomes, life style and value for some degree. Thank you for choosing the interesting topic as always.

 We continued reading an article from the last two lessons entitled 'I was a teacher for 17 year but couldn't read or write'. Because th article was a story, it was easy to understand. But still there were new words for me so I asked Mark to explain them to me. He uses examples when he describes meaning so it always helps me understand correctly.

 Today, we chose some topics at random. The word "peace" is naturally used about the world issue not about our daily life, he explaind to me. Such a sense about how to choose words is really difficult and the reason why I sometimes hesitate to use words. Mark's explanation about word's definition is understandable and interesting to feel the word's meaning. And he introduced "food for thought".  Today, Mark chose me the article about California's drastic decision to mandate solar panels on new homes and buildings built after 2020. It's a epock-making decision to acceralate change from fossil-fuel or nuclear energy to renewable energy. Taking actions make our society better even if there are still problems.  It was a shocking but important article Mark chose me. I din't know how Japanese birth rate has been decreasing and the serious problems would happen in Japanese society in the future. However, in the Japanese media, this news almost has been reported so far. Is it because of pressure from the government?
Anyway, I could practice well how to organize my ideas. And Mark kindly explained my unfamiliar words and phrases to understand easily as always. It is fun time to get new words, news and ideas.
