In Japan, Spring is just around corner. When cherry has blossomed, people go out and cerebrate Spring. Many carnivals have been held anywhere in Japan. Japanese people usually polite, quiet, and gloomy but do not same at carnivals. In my hometown, people open the windows and entrance which usually do not open, and inviting God of the year. Many people especially young people who brings God in the portable shrine, come and cerebrate. Family feasts them with many drinks and foods. It was a special day for village people. During the winter, my hometown has a lot of snow, people waits Spring eagerly. I’m living in Tokyo, no snow falls in winter, but I wait for Spring eagerly even now. |

Today's topic was problems which come from using social media too much. The researchers say that using social media may cause some to experience “Facebook envy,” or feeling jealous of posts about others' happiness or success. I am OK because I am a light user of social media. Thank you for a pleasant lesson. See you! |

Today, we talked about the history of 'work-life balance'. I made a great effort to explain about the history of workers activity which gain the 8 hour work, but it was not so successful. |

We talked about food waste today, too. Frou showed me an article of Daily Telegraph, a British newspaper, about a grocery store's activity of food waste reduction. We discussed about its effectiveness. I told her my research experience that we failed to attract customers' attention. I also told my observation in the U.K. grocery stores. Today's lesson was also very exciting for me. Thank you, Frou. See you. |

Today, we practised listining, while Melvin reads paragraph in an article aloud, I focused on the content and summarized it, then I read the paragraph and he explaind what I couldn't listen to. Melvin's talking is smooth and comments a variety of issues with great ideas. Thank you, Melvin and see you next time. |

It was our first meeting and my first lesson for 4 months. I didn't get nervous during the class at all, and I was able to tell her mostly what I wanted to say. I noticed again that I like English. Thanks for the advice, Joweena. See you! |
