米国の先生は初めてでしたが、正直いって自分の英語力の弱さを痛感しました。フィリピンやナイジェリアの方々と比較して、ネイティブの流暢な英語はまだきびしいです。（SingaporeやMalaysiaの英語ほどではないですが、、そちらのほうが全然聴き取れない）
こんな情けない英語力でも粘り強く明るく接していただきました。

Thank you for another fun lesson today!
According to the article you sent me, the two parties connected to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front did not win a majority in the Bangsamoro parliamentary election. So, it seems that the peace process in the region is still uncertain.
I was surprised to learn that Japan has been supporting peace in Mindanao through ODA since 1994, and that peace talks were held in Narita in 2011. I had no idea about this!

Since time passed so quickly, I couldn’t share my thoughts and experiences with her sufficiently. But I noticed that we have a lot in common.
Luckily, I sometimes meet a nice teacher for me on this site.
