Few years ago, I went to India on business. There were many street children on the street. I had heard before I went to there that it is no use to give money to them because they can’t use the money which I gave. They are subordinate of great evil. I didn’t give any money to them for few days. But in my last day in India, when I ride on the taxy, a little girl came and beg for mercy while waiting the signal. She looked 12-14 years old, and was somehow similar to my daughter. I opened the door and gave her 300 rupee (almost $2). She can get decent dinner if she can use it. I think she will thank to me. But as soon as she receive it, she glared to me and said “Give me more!” |

Today was my first lesson with Ross. I usually choose a text, however, I challenged free talking today. He asked me what is the worst thing in Japan now. As I answered the government, the topic was very difficult to discuss for me. I want to describe many things, however, unfortunately I don't have enough vocabulary to do so. He spoke slowly for me, so I was not so nervous. And I enjoyed his lesson very much. I hope I can speak English fluently in the future. |

Fruitful lesson. Her pronunciation is suitable for Japanese women to imitate because her tone is similar to Japanese womens'. Her effective, speedy, and energetic lesson helps me a lot. |

We did a rephrasing practice using an article from the Breaking News English. Dilhara showed me his own rephrased versions and I learned that changing a subject and object is also useful strategy, by which we can change what is emphasized. I enjoyed today's lesson. Thank you Dilhara. |

Thank you for the lesson again. It is very hard to write the draft but when I are able to write it more smoothly, I think I can get many points at the Eiken test. |

Thank you for your warm comments, Wendy. Your lesson always makes me smile and gives me wisdom. I'll keep your gym advice in my mind and try to build athletic muscle first. I'll keep you updated my results. And thank you for showing me beautiful pictures of flowers. I googled the festival after the lesson. It seemed like a lots of fun going there. See you again soon. |
