 I like her lesson methods to try to improve students’ speaking skills by throwing appropriate questions. I often have trouble responding concisely to the point in a foreign language. My opinions or answers often tend to be redundant and off the point. But she gives me a lot of opportunities to speak and seems to let me organize ideas in mind and talk so that I will become able to fill the gap between my mother’s tongue and English in how to speak logically. Thank you for the satisfying lessons.

 Kathryn, I started to make reservations of hotels and ferries for my (possible) trip to Hokkaido. And I will tell you, everything is quite expensive! I was shocked. Then I wondered to Skyscanner to have a look at the price of flights to Taipei - actually the round trip flight is cheaper than one way of the ferry. Ouch. However, the problem of Taiwan is, that typhoons are quite frequent in the summer. Should I take the risk and go to Taiwan? Or should I spend my money to stimulate Japanese economy? Or simply stay at home to enjoy lazy stacation?

 We talked about taller people and shorter oeople in the world. And I was surprised and sad with the conclusion about image-conscious. Taller people have advantage,it is true.  We talked about sleep based on the Eigox material. I chose the topic because I feel that getting good sleep is very important to live a good life and at the same time it is becoming harder in this busy world.
