In this lesson Dilhara prepared a photo of a house and we described about what we can see in the photo. Because the housing style is quite different from houses I'm familiar with, it was a bit difficult to describe it. But as Dilhara showed me example, I could understand how to explain the details. |

Hi Mayumi-san, happy to see you again:) We mainly talked about cultural differences. It was very fun and interesting to hear a lot of experiences of studying abroad from you. Thank you so much. I always feel that I can't understand other countries' culture unless I go and see them with my own eyes. I think that the best way to know what a coutry is like is to go and see with your own eyes. I want to go abrord somewhere this year. |

In this lesson I learned acronyms that commonly used in English. I know only few of them so I learned many new ones. The lesson helped me because sometimes when I email with foreign people I see acronyms. |

We started reading an article entitled "What it's like to live in a well-governed country." It was interesting article for me because I like to know about different cultures. There were several words I didn't know and Mark described them for me. I was interested in Danish hygge culture. |
