In this lesson we continued working on vocabulary list for Toeic. John gave me hint when I couldn't tell him meaning of words but not just telling me the answer. It helped me a lot that I could think by myself before. Also he helped me knowing words' several meaning when the word has more than two meanings.

Mituko Y先生に習い始めて4ケ月です。30年以上もアメリカで、生活してらしゃる先生は、色々と経験談を取り入れて、レッスンして下さるので、とても楽しいです。英語が理解出来ない時は、日本語で説明して下さるので、リラックスしてレッスンが、受けられます。又レビューには、間違えて発音した単語、文章、その他気をつける点を色々と書いて下さるのでとても勉強になります。Mituko先生は、とても誠意のある先生です。

Thanks to teacher Namiko, I enjoyed reading a difficult article. I love reading so that I sometimes forget it is a test. I prefer careful reading to rapid reading, but I understand I need to train rapid reading. As you advised today, I will try it. Thank you for your informative lesson.

10歳の息子のレッスンでした。

エイゴックス歴は長いですが、これほどまでに不愉快な先生は初めてです。

通常は否定的な事は一切書きませんが、他の生徒さんの被害者を増やさないためにも書き込みさせて頂きます。

話をするたび逐一訂正され話が全く前に進みません。息子が話した事の真似をバカにしたように何度も繰り返す。

「それは赤ちゃん言葉なんですけど、大人になってもそんな風に○○○バブバブ～って赤ちゃん言葉を使う訳?」

「その英語力で本当に英検2級持ってるの?」

何回も何回も何回も発音の訂正。

レッスンを受けた息子とそばで聞いていた家族全員の怒りが最絶頂に達しました。

息子は「こんなに侮辱されたのは初めて」との事です。

低年齢の子供のレッスンには向いていません、絶対にお勧めしません。英語嫌いになってしまいます。

ネチネチと攻撃され、嫌味ったらしい事を言われたり、バカにしたように真似する先生が好きな方にしか向きません。

二度とレッスンは取りません。

When I teach kids, I like to act silly/funny in order to make them laugh so that they'll relax and focus on the lesson better.
Unfortunately, my silly behavior in this lesson was interpreted as me mocking the student. That was never my intention and I'm sorry that that's how the student understood it. I love teaching English to everyone and will continue to do my best in all future lessons.

人柄は、とても良い感じの人でしたが、残念ですが、子供と話しているようで、こちらが誘導しないと教えられない、という感じがありました。なぜeigoxで働いてるの?と聞いたら、その時あんまり女の先生があまりいなかったから、高校生でも雇っちゃたのよね。って、、あまりにもプロ意識のない回答。。社会問題に関しても、ご自分の意見もあまりもっていらっしゃらず、、疲れました。

コネクションが悪いのか、ヘッドホンを先生が使われていないからか、聞こえにくかったです。残念ながら肘をつきながら説明されたり、質問をしてもわかりやすい回答がえられず、時間だけがすぎていきました。先生本人が慣れていないようにも思えました。一生懸命説明しようとしていたのは伺えましたが、吃って話されますし、こちらに伝わらなければ、こちらが理解しなければレッスンの意味がありません。
