After catching up each other, I asked Terry some questions about move transcripts. Terry explained the meaning of name-drop, being discreet, getting laid in, crash and burn on, being spontaneous, hooking somebody up with, throwing off, being stoned out, etc. I even learned where the band name Rolling Stones came from. Thank you Terry!!

Today, I worked on Desperate housewives lesson 1. This movie is beneficial for me to learn casual expressions. She taught me more natural expressions. I appreciate your kindness. See you next time.

I had a really great time with her. It was our first lesson but I can talk with her smoothly because of her kind personality.
She taught me how to omit pronunciation with simple examples so I can understand clearly.
Thank you Kate, see you next time!

Hi, Nix! I am very happy to see you again!
Today's connection was better :).
Our conversation is always fun.
Next time, would you please let me know how to cook Philippine cuisine you introduced me? I will try to cook it. While we were talking about the dish, both of us were hungry. How about we have lessons while having dinner? :).
Anyway, Thank you so much for making your time for our lessons. Catch you soon, Nix!

We used one of the article from English Breaking News.com to practice rephrasing. I realized it's sometimes more difficult to rephrase short and simple sentences. I learned some good expressions Dilhara used in his sentences, such as being comparable to, being beneficial to, and bearing a closer resemblance. I will try to use these expressions by myself in the future.Thank you Dilhara! I am looking forward to our next lesson!
