We finished reading an article 'I was a teacher for 17 year but couldn't read or write'. There were some expressions I wasn't familiar with so it was interesting to know about them.

This is my second time to talk to Aileen. I enjoyed talking with her, though sometimes I had some difficulty understanding her English, as she spoke a little faster and I am not yet accustomed to her English.
She is so friendly and kind that I had a good time speaking with her.

I asked Max to review my translation, which was rated 2nd place with 80 points score out of 100 in an online translation contest. Max found no grammatical errors nor strange expressions in my translation and gave me 100 points! After the review, we talked about an idea about being involved in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics as an interpreter. We also talked about yogi cats we share our home with. One of my cat Sakura joined in the later half of the lesson. Thank you Max! I can't wait for our next lesson!

We continued working on the vocabulary list. John gave me hints when there were words I was not familiar with, and it helped me understand meaning of words correctly apart from just searching for Japanese definitions.
