At the beginning of the lesson I told Richard that I took phone call from abroad in English. After that we talked about drawing. I like to draw and paint when I have free time. It was fun to talk with topics that something I'm interested in. We also talked about spring equinox day. Then we talked about food which is good for our health. I told him about fresh juice I make for my breakfast. Throughout the lesson, we had free conversation. It was fun to talk a lot. Thank you for the enjoyable lesson and I'm looking forward to the next lesson. See you soon! |

In this lesson we continued working on the vocabulary list for Toeic. There were some new words so I needed clues from John. His explanation is clear, so most of the time I can reach to the answer. He gave me advice about learning vocabulary. Not just memorize new words themselves but try to use them in sentence, because language is a tool for communication. From this lesson, I will review on vocabulary I learned through his lesson afterward. Thank you always and see you soon! |

Hello Han-san! Thank you for the lesson( Tuesday 13:00, March 27,2018) and comment. In this lesson I wanted to say "Japan has a unique word about cherry blossom. It's cherry blossom front. Japan spreads long south to north so cherry blossom blooms from south to north. Okinawa region is February. Japanese Archipelago is March,April.Hokkaido region is May. We say it Cerry blossom front is going up north." See you! |

Hi Mayumi-San, happy to see you again:) I missed talking to you too. It is so hard to make a reservation of your lesson because your teaching is very popular. It is so sad that we can't spend as much time as we could have wanted. I wish I could see you more. We talked about the roles of shrine. The greatest Shinto impurity is death, and it's always considered taboo. On the cotrary, Buddhism teaches how to escape the agonies of life and to reach nirvana, or enlightenment. Therefore, most Japanese go to Shinto shrines for occasions related to this life such as Omiyamairi, baby's first shrine visit, or weddings, and go to Buddhist temples on occasions related to life after death, such as funerals. I always feel that it is a little difficult to explain about religion, social customs in Japan, and Japanese mind. Let's talk about interesting topics next lesson. I can hardly wait next lesson. You can't imagine how much I'm dying to see you. See you next lesson! |

Bryan gave me some material to learn how to pronounce vowels. He showed me how the way English sound produced is different from Japanese. English sound uses more throat. We also worked on a tongue twister to practice a sound. It was fun! Bryan, I've determined to speak English just like you someday soon! I can't wait our next lesson. |
