Another fun conversation with you, Richard!! Along with the presentation of homework, I was led to spontaneous conversation by your spontaneous question, that I did not prepare for in advance, which was really helpful for me to know where I am in terms of speaking ability, as well as finding out what I need to learn for the next. So, I would like to prepare for discussions regarding the role of Japanese Emperor, constitution and Japanese Self-Defense Forces so that I can express myself more freely. Many Japanese are Buddists but are not pious.
We go to shrine New Year's day, go to temple to pray for ancestors, celebrate Cristmas day, and even celebrate Halloween. Most Japenese are open for religions.
