This was my first class with Micnael. We talked about skatebording that is his favorite sport. He sent me YouTube of famous skateborder Yuto Horigome. In Japan skatebording is not as popular as in US. But it is really cool. I enjoyed talking with Michael. |

Today, we talked about flash cards and air pollution. I learned that I didn't have to hesitate to speak English slowly now. He taught me the good points to become a good speaker. |

Today, we talked about the article on medical terminology and the communication between doctors and patients. It's interesting that I found the difference about medical system between U.K. and Japan. Such a sensitive topic seems to be difficult for me, but I really enjoyed it. It's fun to know what I've never known. Thank you, Mark for providing interesting articles as always. See you next time. |

We talked about equality for men and women through a topic of Naomi who won the US.Open in 2018. I was so happy about her victry that was first victry as a Japanese tennis player. And at the same time I was impressed by Williams protesting against the refree's decision. Who could any japanese women do that? Mark told me in even YK,the status of women was much lower 100 years ago. But women fought to get sex equality. I admire both Naomi and Williams. |
