I asked her to talk about the world economy this year. So she sent me an article about German reaction towards Trump's attack on BMW. We began with this article. After a small discussion about imposing a tariff on a particular company, we discussed the impact of U.S. protectionism policy. I stated my anxiety about some similarity between present situation and before World War I. Our discussion went to even Japanese defense policy and Filipino foreign policy. I could not form an well-organized opinion but I could realize what I was thinking and what my issues were. Thank you for responding my political discussion, Grace. See you! |
