Today's article was 'This Rescue Owl Was ‘Too Fat To Fly,’ So The Sanctuary Had To Put Her On A Diet'. I enjoyed the pleasant conversation with Kumi this morning despite the disagreeable muggy weather. Rain falling outside the window. Buzzing of cicadas herald the oncoming of summer. Swallows nesting in roofing panels, chicken`s faces protruded out of the nest chirping, opening their beaks appealing for food. Women holding sun umbrellas strikes the unbearable sultry summer. Kids playing in rain puddles sounding of splashing water. Kid`s yelling sound sweet and brings delight to ongoing grim and bleak scenario. How are we gonna cope with the sweltering hot days wearing masks amid coronavirus pandemic? By no means easy to go through. By when we have to withstand this plight? There is a silver lining amid coronavirus pandemic. We can reflect our lives. Mull over what is superfluous and essential to our lives. Ponder things that we couldn`t do in busy lives and weigh to do that. Now is not the moment to let up on our efforts to grapple this scourge of coronavirus. Hope we all get a new lease of life very soon. Kumi, thank you for another thoughtful discussion. See you soon. |
