How incredible it was having a chat with you after a long time! Despite the fact that we hadn't talked to each other for ages, it didn't affect a good rapport between you and me. We started off the conversation with sharing what we've been up to first and then, expanded it to broader topics. To my astonishment, the conversation went smoothly with the flow even though I was exhausted enough to get distracted from the topic and lost the plot. I'm so grateful for you trying to encourage me to take the initiatives in the conversation and keep working hard to enhance my language proficiency with your compliments for my oral performance! We mainly talked about the tourism in Japan. Local business in both urban areas and rural areas are devastated after Covid-19 pandemic. We have to find a way to revitalize Japanese tourism. After Go To Travel Campaign, some rural areas are experiencing higher volume visitors and have incited an equal mix of wrath and fear from many residents of rural areas. Some hotels and ryokans are thinking of opening their rooms to remote workers. In that way, they can get sustainable income and easily get consensus from local residents. |
