Today, we had a free-conversation class. We began by catching up and talking about my recent move. And then we soon got into proofreading my journal entry. I put it onto our chat window and read it aloud. Melissa and I went over my journal line by line, and she corrected mistakes and suggested nicer words and expressions. Finally, we talked about the difficulty of facing personal issues rather than ignoring them. I found it really useful that she made the corrected journal into a Word file. Melissa is a very skillful instructor who established an effective and efficient way of teaching, but I think there has to be more to an excellent teacher than just being good at teaching. I'm sure she has it. |
