In this lesson, we continued working on the vocabulary list for TOEIC test. The words we went over were form, forward, founded, frank, frankly, fuel, fulfill, function, and functional. Even with the words I use, it's difficult to explain the meaning of them using different words or expressions.Through John's lesson I thought it's important to learn synonyms to understand words correctly. For the words for this lesson some words were difficult to explain and I had some unfamiliar ones. As alwaysI found it's very enjoyable to know words in detail. Thank you for the fruitful lesson and I'm looking forward to the next lesson. See you soon! |

In this lesson, we read an article entitled 'New Mexico President takes 60% pay cut'.I learned some new words such as austerity, incumbent, ministrial, and chauffeurs. Dilhara gave me definition for each of them. Because the topic was about politic, it was a bit difficult for me to have discussion. But it was interesting and thinking about the government of my own country was interesting too. Thank you for the gainful lesson and I'm looking for the next time. |

We were able to have a good time. It seemed to be very fun when I was in the beginning, but I was tired of halfway whether the imagination game for children was a bit difficult. I said that I wanted to play the game while talking with you than the game where only the screen can be seen. The children also said they would like to see you again. Also, I am looking forward to it next time. |

He is splendid! He finds our weakpoint to speak English in the class and leads us its training. I learned "frquent-use words" that I didn't know today. He is eager to brush up our English and he always teaches us on his best. The class is always a fun and fruitful. It's only 25 minutes but the time goes fast and I often feel not enough(I want keep learning from him).He is my favorite teacher and highly recommend you!(^o^) |

Teacher Mandy is very kind and easy to talk with. I was impressed her home country Zimbabwe and her current living country Ukraine, because these two countries are very controversial countries in both economic and political point of views. Her experiences in these countries are interesting and worth listening to. Thank you, Mandy for the nice lesson and I want to have another soon! |

We discussed huge amount of plastic garbage in the ocean. The teacher suggested two words for this topic: deteriorate and biodegradable I do not believe "deteriorate" is the most suitable word to describe treating waste plastic. I used the word "dissolve", which I think is better than deteriorate. Deteriorate means just to get worse in quality. |
