EIKEN Preparation Materials

What is EIKEN?

EIKEN is the most popular English proficiency test in Japan, and many people take the test every year.
EIKEN test consists of 2 stages as follows.

Stage 1: Paper Test (For reading, writing and listening skills)
Stage 2: Interview Test (For speaking skill)

There are 7 grades in EIKEN and students can select a grade in accordance with their English levels.

Lesson Matelials for EIKEN

At Eigox, we have two types of materials, "EIKEN Test Preparation" and “Eiken: Mock Interview”,
designed for the students who are preparing for Eiken tests.

①Eiken Test Preparation
This material is designed for the students who want to practice frequently asked questions and learn vocabulary for the EIKEN test, covering both the 1st and 2nd stages.
Any Eigox tutors could teach this material by selecting “Eiken” in Available Lessons and “EIKEN Test Preparation” in Available Textbooks on your Tutor’s My Page.

②Eiken: Mock Interview
This material is specifically designed for the interview test on the 2nd stage..
This material can be taught only by the qualified Eigox tutors who have passed a check test conducted by Eigox staff members.
If you are interested in teaching this material, please read the following instructions.

How to teach “Eiken: Mock Interview”

Step 1. Preparation
Check the "short movie" and "How to conduct the lesson" of the test grede(s) you would like to teach and understand how the test is conducted.

Step 2. Application
When you are ready, please let us know what "grade(s)" you would like to teach via email.
* Our email address is "info@eigox.jp".
* If you could teach all grades, that would be ideal.

Step 3. Test
Eigox staff will book your lesson(s) to see if you are fully ready to start teaching.
* No lesson fees are applied to the test lesson(s).

Step 4. Start
Passing the test, you will be registered as a qualified tutor for the Eiken Mock interview lessons. We believe you could increase the chance of receiving more lesson bookings if you start providing the lessons.
