[ How to conduct a lesson ]
1. Send a contact request to the Student
Please send a contact request (= a brief message) to the student from your Teams account.
*For students you have already called on Teams before,
you can call them directly without sending a contact request.
However, the student may have logged into a different Teams account.
If they do not answer your call, please be sure to follow Steps 1-3 below to call them.
- Step 1: Go to “Tutor’s MyPage > Booked Lessons > Details > How to call”.
- Step 2: Click “Invitation Link”.
- Step 3: Teams will open and you are already in the chat room with the student.
Send a contact request (= a brief message) to the student at least a few minutes prior to the lesson time.- * Message Example: "Hello, my name is James from Eigox.”
- * Once the student accepts your message (= contact request), it enables you to make a video call to him/ her.
- * Your student might send you a contact request before you send him/ her a contact request. If this happens, please accept his/ her request.
2. Call the student
- If the student doesn't answer, call them a few times during the lesson time.
