It was nice talking to you. After I reviewed our lesson today I recognize that I couldn't answer your questions correctly, because I couldn have not caught your words, such as silly and nasty. Anyway, I had a great time. Thank you Mark, see you next time. |

According to the article that you introduced to me, the ingredient in marijuana has a good effect on the brain aging. That's an interesting argument. But there are very few people who advocate legalizing marijuana in Japan. Anyway in aging society we have to find the way of recovering memory loss caused by alzheimer dementia. Thank you so much! |

Today's topic was about truly restful breaks for workers. According to the article that was taken up at the lesson, workers should take micro breaks so often and in the morning. And then when they take a rest, they should get out of the office. I think it is a convincing argument, but saying is one thing and doing is another. I enjoyed talking with you. Thank you so much! |

At first we talked about the weather. In Kyoto the rainy season began a week ago, butit has been fine the past few days. And then converastion moved to today's topic. That was about Shiki-shima which is considered the world's most luxurious train. Thay say it is so difficult to get the ticket to ride. We enjoyed talking about Shiki-shima. Thank you so much! |

Today we took up as a topic of the lesson the activities by NPO in USA to help young girls to acquire computer skills.Formerly most of the people who worked at computer industries were men. So the activities of NPO help to narrow the gender gap in computing. I enjoyed talking with you. Thank you so much! See you next week. |

Today's topic is plastic food samples in Japan. Lifelike food samples that appear in restaurant displays are unique to Japan. I knew for the first time that nutritionists use food samples for counseling to help people make healthy choices. I had fun talking with you. |

Today's topic is about the world's tallest and shortest people. We talked about the reason why the Dutch men are so tall. We agree that growth depends on genetic factors and diet. But both of us don't believe that the reason of growth is that the Dutch people eat more potatoes and breads and do a lot of sports. I enjoyed talking with you about an interesting topic. |

Today's topic is Earth day which was marked as the celebration for Mother Earth since 1970. Ironically the human race which is the most highly evolved species is the perpetrator of abusing the earth. There are too much things that we should do. |

We could not finish our lesson because the SKYPE connection was not good. Maybe it is in a bad mood today, and it needs to be relaxed by the therapy pig! |

We talked about high infant mortality rate in some developing countries. That serious problem is caused by bad sanitary situation, short of electricity and clean water, and also very few specialists like trained midwives. Advanced industrial countries should help developing countries to lower infant mortality rate. I enjoyed talking with you. See you ! |

Before getting down to the main topic,we talked about so-called golden week which will begin tomorrow.Recently even on national holidays private universities hold classes. Today's main topic was 'Amakudari'. Amakudari is illegal and morally unjustified, nevertheless it never disappears. I enjoyed talking with you. |

Firrstly we talked about the French Presidential Election. And then we brought 'misophonia' up. Misophonia is a kind of disease, the symptom of which is hypersensitivity to all kinds of sounds. We agreed that we shudder every time we hear certain sounds but we can't imagine hypersensitivity to all sounds. Today's topic is useful for expanding my vocabulary. |

Firstly we talked about cherry-blossoms. The cherry-blossoms have already fallen in Kyoto because rainy and windy days continued these days. And then we exchanged views about ' Aota-uri' which means selling homes before they are completed. There is a possibility that Aota-uri causes 'tenuki-koji'which means sloppy work in construction. I enjoyed talking with you. Thank you! |

Today's topic is about future office. The office with massage room, aquarium and even a slide, can you imagine? I think very few workers who are highly-skilled and highly paid can enjoy such comfortable working conditions. The great majority of workers can't help but work at 3D(Dirty, Dangerous and Demanding) jobs. I enjoyed talking with you. |

We talked about the current political situations in Japan and USA. In Japan the so-called Moritomo school problem is shaking Abe Administration. In USA President Trump failed to repeal Obamacare. Both administrations are becoming unstable. So the prospects of political situations in both countries are unpredictable. I enjoyed talking with you. See you! |
