We talked about giant insects that lived 320 million years ago today.
Max gave me a lot of questions about what I was thinking.
I tried to answer those questions, but my explanations were not natural or perfectly correct.
However, Max gave me the correct forms that natives speak.
Those correct phrases are able to help me a lot.
I will review it and refine my English sentence structures.

We talked about sand suculputures in Tottori museum where it takes long time from my home in Tokyo.

Today we have a discussion about women's right in Japan.Japanese gender gap is different from other developed countries.Japanese score is lower than others,which means that women in Japan are not equal to mens especialy in worlplaces.My first workplace has often "Nomikai" where I have to behave quietly and obedient for men.After that,I've not encountered situations like that,it's lucky for me.I hope following new company is same or I can choose to join "Nomikai" or not.Max bring me thinking about women's right.Thanks a lot!!

Today we picked up surprising topic about Japanese elderly people are enjoying Breaking dance.They are below 70 yaeas old and have a dance team called "Ara Style Area" in Tokyo's Edogawa ward.They enjoyed themselves laughing,dancing,staying healthy.I think the reason why Japanese people lives longer than others is their diet which is less oil and salt.Max who is my teacher said Japanese people look like younger than American and Westurn people and live for longer than others, it's so sometimes strange.I agree extremely.But we don't wont to do Breaking dance now and in the future,hahaha.In Mexico where he lives in, it's rainy season.Please take a good rainy sound Saturday night Max!!Thanks a lot.

We had a conversation about why American employees don't call in shick to work. There are some reson that sick employees guess heir boss don't believe thier sick,colleague have to work more in stead of sick person's leave,they are criticized from their boss.Japanese employees are similar to U.S.They probably feel guilty more than American when they take off work because of sick.It's OK to get cold and flu, however if employees are very sick they have to take leaves to prevent passing on a cold to others.

Today we handled a topic about Japanese ceremony in shrine for dogs and cats that young adult peple or no children couples take care of with so much love.The pets are wearing Kimono amid the ceremony,they may look like strange,however the pet owener are pleased with hoping happiness and welbeing for thier pets.We both think that the ceremony is a little funny.Our opinion for the ceremony is that Dogs and cats wont to eat individual foods rather than wearing Kimono and being celeblated.Howevere,it's OK that there are varius values for their pets,making dogs and cats weared Kimono.

We handled a topic about whale meat Vending Machines. Whale meat vending masbine have been expand into Japan, however contravertionist disagree them.I have ate them one or two times,but it's taste was no good for me.
Max doesn't lile seafood so he may not try.Both him and me don't like green peas.
Following lesson,I should be careful of my pronunciation like" DEcorated with", "whale".I'll do that.
Today I had a great time with Max,thank you so much!!

I had a lesson about an idle job for ourselves. The survey about it described it's important that comapanies give short time job,higher salary,short time to commute,better workplace environment,friendly communication with coworkers,valueable culture of company. There were some questions of my previous or future works in this class.Max suggested coffee shop I want to open in the future is better to combine well like coffee and chesecake.I'll try this, so I practice baking varius cakes,find persons who can do so. A little bit I regreted missinng the time to ask his dream, however I could do on chat. Had a wanderful time time, thank you so much Max!!

Today's topic is a headphone produced by Dayson well known for vaccume cleaner. The device could protect people who are wearing it from enviornment pollutant, however the people look weirded like future human in SF movie.

First of all we talked about his area's weater that it keeps on raining May to Sept, four or five days per a week. After that he checked my pronunciation, broughtg up important sentenses and vocaburaly, using Skype chat funcition.
We discussed about the headphone, for example it will be popular in the future, if it's price is 5,000yen we buy it etc. In addition I was requested to answer "how will worldwide pollutant be ".

Maxの家の近くにエイリアンが来てるという面白いジョークでレッスンがスタートしました。

今日のテーマは、日本の会社にいる”おじさん”、”おばさん”についてです。彼らは、年功序列型の賃金制度のため十分に働かず、時に寝たり無駄にメッセージをやり取りしたりして、彼らの所属する会社の職場環境へも悪影響を及ぼしています。こういったちょっと変わった日本の社会問題を本日はMaxはテーマとして取り上げてくれました。

さて、アイスブレークの次に単語の発音確認をして本文の音読をしながら、その間に発音や言い回しなどで重要となる部分をMaxがチャットでテキストとして送ってくれます。
音読が終わったら、Maxの送ってくれたチャットを見ながら重要な箇所を確認していきます。例えば、単語や言い回しの意味や言い換えなど。
チャットを確認したら、本日のテーマについてディスカッションしていきます。なぜ、日本には彼らのような従業員がいるのか、どうしたら改善されるのかなど。原因として、個人のスキルや成果ではく年齢に基づく給料制度・人材流動の不足・政府や政治家の意向・長らく根付いている日本独自の労働文化・日本の法律などが挙げられました。解決策は、それらの原因が変わっていくことが提唱されました。

最後に、お互いが今日を楽しめるように励ましあって終わりました。

初めにそれぞれの時間帯を確認して、Maxの住んでいるメキシコより時差の進んでいる日本（未来）の状況はどうかなどちょっとしたアイスブレイクを挟み、レッスン内容のニュース記事に入りました。
記事では、職場における男性と女性における燃え尽き症候群や昇進の違いを取り扱いました。数年前の記事でしたが、2024年現在にも当てはまる内容とのことでMaxが選んでくれました。働く女性にとっては非常に興味深いトピックです。
記事を読んでいる際に、ポイントとなるフレーズやセンテンス、発音がうまくいかないワードなどをMaxがスカイプのチャットにテキストとして送ってくれます。読み終えると、チャットのテキストを見ながら言い回しや文章・単語の意味、発音を確認し、記事についての質問がいくつかなされます。
一通り記事に関連するトピックが終わると、次に内容についてのディスカッションが始まります。日本ではどうですか、これからの将来どうなっていてほしいですかなど意見を述べます。また私自身の仕事など多岐に渡る内容が繰り広げられます。
そして時間になると、最後の挨拶をして終了となります。
今回も非常に楽しく有意義な時間をMaxありがとうございました！！

初めてのレッスンでした。軽い自己紹介の後、ニュース記事の音読によって単語の確認・発音をチェックし、最後の挨拶を交わして終了という流れでした。
初めから最後までMaxは親切かつ丁寧にレクチャーしてくれ、初めての緊張もほぐれあっという間の時間でした。
音読中に文章や単語の意味・理解が不足してそうに見て取れる部分は、Maxがスカイプのチャット機能でテキストとして送ってくれるので非常に復習に役立ちます。また、克服すべき弱点が明確化されるので改善のスピードが上がる効果があります。
受講前は25分はとても短く感じましたが、受けてみるとかなり密度が高く効率的に英語習得が実現できるということを実感する非常に有意義な時間でした。
