Homework 21. Homework that you made is helpful and useful to learn English. I like 'deep down' because Japanese don't say directly what they feel so there are many situations that I can use this phrase. Relationships with friends are sometimes so complicated. Through your classes and questions that you asked using new words/phrases, I could think again about what kind of people I like, whom I respect and disrespect, and what I want to be. That's the one of the important things that I learn from you. Without you, I don't think I had a chance to think about personality in this year. I'll do my best to be nice to loved ones in the coming year! |

This was the last class that I had in this year. I took your class in this morning, so this time, we didn't do homework and talked about Spanish and your life. I think for most people, to live in another country is difficult and uncomfortable, so I feel like someone who can do it has courage and likes adventure. I like people who seeks for changes and always try new things. I really appreciate that you've done to me in this year. Thank you so much!! |

Today, we did a review of homework 19 and 20(el repaso de las tareas #19-20). I made a sentence or question using words/phrases that I learn in HW19 and 20. I did my best not to say 'eat vegetable' to you to maintain our good relationship and I think I did well!!! I easily forget what I learn, it's hard to memorize new words/phrases, but this time, I memorized many thanks to vegetable and karate baby, haha. I will read a pdf that you sent me. Thank you again, so much! Muchas gracias, profesor! |

Today, we did homework 20. The most favorite word/phrase I learn today is a "fish out of water". I'm gonna be fish out of water within a few days since I spend my winter vacation(oh, maybe I shouldn't say so because I don't work right now!) with my family in law and I know you feel like a fish out of water if today's lunch is not pizza but broccoli! |

I really had a fun talking with Mark about the importance of grammar when studying English. He introduced me an article about that topic. |

Thank you so much for your lesson, Max. I enjoyed it a lot even though my brain was really tired at the end of the lesson. It was a good practice that you kept asking me variety of questions. I'd like to try that because it happens in natural conversations. And I'd like to thank you for your patience with my slow response to your quetions. You let me try to express what I want to say. I'm looking forward to your next lesson! See you soon! |

Today, we did homework 20. Words I learn from you are always useful. I think I should cut down on checking I Phone so often to use my time more efficient and you should cut down on having chocolate cakes or pizzas and eat more vegetable. It was very surprising for me that you can eat lettuce, spinach, carrot, and cauliflower!! Enjoy Christmas and see you tomorrow. |

Mark, I really enjoyed your lesson. The lesson was perfect for me! I want to learn new words, new idioms, proper pronunciations, and accurate grammers and you teach me all of them. Also you make me feel relaxed which is helpful for me to speak in English. Still I get nervous a little bit, though. I'm looking forward to your lesson again. See you soon! |

Many things happened, but I could survive last weekend event and it was really nice to see you again. We talked about that event and always sleeping father-in-law, and did a little of a review. 'Que suenes con los angeles' is very sweet and warm phrase. Thank you very much for telling me this sweet phrase! You are great English and Spanish teacher!!! |
