One of the prime minister Abe's public commitments is to provide women opportunities to work actively. However, before this statement, he said how to use women as workforce. He was blamed a lot for this improper statement, but t is his real intention. |

Thank you for today's wonderful lesson as usual. I really like to do a role play with you. It's fun but also very helpful for me because it's almost like improvising, besides you are so creative! See you soon! |

Thank you for your comments, Mark. The proverb“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”is very convincing. I have two aspects, sharing both this American mind and workaholic Japanese mind. My reality sometimes contradicts my ideal. I try to keep my mind as open as possible. |

People have variety in appearance, language, customs and value, it brings pleasure and surprise when we find some similarities or universal values. We can also share the essentials. This articles reminds me of those things! |

Thank you, Mark. Sleep is the most familiar topic. Every day, I think how many hours should I sleep, until what time can I sit up. But I shouldn't be arrogant, ignoring taking a rest. |

Thank you for an article about the cutting edge technology. It's like a world in science fictions. I hope this kind of technology makes our life more comfortable and the earth unpolluted. |

Happy Flag day! Maybe this time was second time that I made a mistake REcord and reCORd. First one is noun and second is verb!!!! Alright! I will never get mistake! In addition, I memorized fed-fed-fed. Fed is different from Feed. Thank you very much! and I hope you will catch an intelligent fly! |

I practiced summarizing the article regarding the humanoid robot phone. Summarizing needs paraphrazing the whole details, which challenges me to use a variety of vocabularies. That's tough, but works well. Thank you for usual corrections and helpful advice, Max" |

It was nice that I could open this long-time-waited-file and almost finish it. Two idiomatic expression that I learn today are interesting because we have similar kind of expression(Actions speak louder than words, and Add insult to injury) in Japanese, so it was easy to find out what these mean. To know something in common is always nice!! |

We talked about our visit to the hospital for karate baby. I thought it was for her to have inhalation therapy since that doctor said she may have asthma. However, he asked me many questions about antibody and even worse, he threatened me that I might experience abortion, premature delivery, or any serious problem with my new baby. In the very last moment, he put a stethoscope to karate baby for a second and said he would give us same medicine as we received two days ago for AGAIN, another 7 days. That was awful experience and I strongly feel it's really hard to find a nice doctor. This experience was terrible though, good English practice. I could learn some new words. |

It was surprising that you show interest in how to count a month when we get pregnant in Japan. You are really eager to learn new things and that made/makes you knowledgeable, sophisticated and considerate person. Thank you always! |

whenever I talk to you, I always feel 'free conversation' is really hard since I'm pregnant and karate baby has a fever once in a week now and I don't know any medical terms. But your guess is always great. You can find out what I want to say and tell me how to explain it in correct English. That's nice only if i can memorize everything that you taught me lol. |

Today, we did 'carrots, eggs, and coffee' which was saved in my PC quite a long time ago and tired of waiting for opening day! I'm glad we can shed light on him(or her?). This story contains some new words and already known words, but never been pronounced by me before. It was good practice! Thank you! By the way, a missing cushion has finally came back to us. It was washed by my husband with love and had been at the balcony again to make it dray, and now, he is comfortably on the sofa and the other cushion! |

I enjoyed his lesson as usual. I wanted to try it without any preparations but to avoid getting frustrated again I had prepared this time. So I guess I was able to tell my opinions quite clearly. Also while I was talking, sometimes what I wanted to say came up in my mind and came out from my mouth without translating it from Japanese into English. English only channel! I was happy today! Thanks for your lesson, Max! See you soon! |

It was a great talking with you, Mark-san. We covered a lot of controversial issues in the USA. I always enjoyed discussion with you. Your precise and honest opinions motivate me to study the USA more. I hope we can discuss this kind of lessons. Next time, I would like to talk about culture, education, poverty over the world. These issues are the ones that I want to share our opinions. Thank you very much for today's lesson, again. I really enjoyed. |
