Today I reviewd several idioms related to environment, such as "ripple effect","a recipe for disaster" and "no quick fix". I also learnsd the word, "reciprocate" which means to act or give mutually or in return. Thank you so much:) |

Today's lesson is also so good. She is a good listener. She leads to me when I have a problem to say in English. The more I talk with her the more I'm confident about my English skill. Thanks a lot. |

I talked about my days with her before working through some vocabulary from our past lessons. She kindly checked my errors and typed the correct sentences. It is useful when I review the lessons. I really appreciate her coming through for me as always. |

I told her about celebrating the Girls' Festival called "Hina-matsuri" in Japan. Then I learned several words related to architecture and practiced describing them. It is interesting for the word 'bunbalow' to have different meanings between English and Japanese. Thank you :) |

I was able to review many words from our past lessons, such as "evesdrop","hygienic","tuck in","slurp","keep off","take off" and "give up" which are all related to manners. I practiced describing the meanings of them and making original sentences. Thank you. |

I learned several vocabulary such as "bumper-to-bumper traffic","derelict buildings" and "sprawling city". Then I practiced describing them orally. During our small talk, I also knew a couple of words, "scunchie" and "fluorescent colours". Thank you :) |

Samantha and I spent this lesson "At the Bank" of 100 Power Topics. Today's expression are "take long" and "in order" , aren't they? Anyway, Samantha knows well it had been heavy snow for a while in the area of Sea of Japan. Great seeing you! Looking forward to the next time! |

Nice to speak with you! I reviewed the ideoms I learned during our last lesson and I went over two new ones - “sink or swim” & “thrown in the deep end.” I understood the meanings, but it is hard for me to use them in daily conversation. So I need more practice. Thank you so much :) |
