 This was our first lesson. We began with self-introduction. She at first told me her staying country and recent visited countries as well as her family affairs. Then I introduced myself to her. We talked about some countries visited before. Then we talked about how to motivate a junior high school student to learn English. She introduced me her experiences like reading short stories and news, using duolingo, which is a kind of game which promotes learning foreign languages. It was useful information.  After a bit of catching up, we proceeded to take up a couple of idioms related to "family." I learned about what "the black sheep" and "push my buttons" mean and how to express them in sentences.
