I reviewed some words and expressions about "weather" from earlier lesson, such as 'drizzle','downpour','raining like cats and dogs','breezy','blustery','gale force wind','howling','come rain or shine','a storm is brewing', and 'weather the storm.' Although I understand their vague meanings, it is difficult to describe in English. I need more practice. Thank you! |

We went over some words related to food from our lesson in the past, such as 'bland','mushy','greasy',and'lumpy'. I also learned a couple of unknown expressions like "cook up a storm," "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach," and "There's always room for something sweet at the end of the meal!" Thanks a million :) |

Today we went over several idioms from the last lesson and I asked which verb we should use with judo, 'play' or 'do'. She told me that 'do' is correct and we should NOT say ” I play judo." She often types some expressions and phrases in the chat box and they really help me a lot. Thank you! |

Today I learned some expressions including "I put my foot in it(my mouth)","Easier said than done," and "It's like talking to a brick wall." I'd like to naturally use them in daily conversations. Also, she taught me how to properly write and express the time of day. THank you! |

Time flies really fast! 25 minutes have passed in an instant, with us talking about my everyday life. She gave me a lot of advice in regards to the questions associated with my work as an English grade marker. Thank you :) |

Today's topic was health. We reviewed a couple of expressions such as " to be back on your feet" and "as fit as a fiddle," and then I learned some new idioms like "a clean bill of health," and "a new lease on life." Making sentences with using these expressions is very usefull to me. Thank you:) |
