I started reading new article about "traveling world with cats and a dog" with Mark. I could understand overview of the article, but because there were several new words and expressions I was not familiar with, it was difficult to get descriptive parts. But after Mark's explanation I understood.
I learned new words again. Thank you for the lesson and see you next time.

His lesson is always worthwhile.
Today we talked about the difference of salaries, bonuses, and the meaning of performance reviews between in the UK and in Japan.
It was very interesting.

In the beginning of the lesson, I asked about "prioritizing" "concentrating on" and "focusing on" and the difference between those three and "being tied up". Then we read the Symantec article and Mark explained the meaning of "itirative feedback" and "tips and tricks". In the later part of the lesson we used a material Mark suggested and learned phrases for business meetings. I learned a lot of good phrases and I want to use some of those in actual meeting settings! Throughout the lesson, Mark explained many words and phrases using lots of examples, so they were all easy to understand. Thank you Mark! I am looking forward to seeing you next time!

He has a ton of knowledge in business, which is really valuable to speak with him.

Today we continued to read the article about Ford. I learned a lot of words and expressions including straddling, reaping benefits, bottom line, walking off a ledge,and lag. I also understood the difference between putting off and postponing and rescheduling. Thank you Mark!

I learned a lot of usuful business English, a polite way to say and what I souldn't say to our suppliers. These would be helpful for my business trip. Thank you as always and talk to you soon!

It was an usuful lesson, as usual. His explainations are always very precise. I learned a difference of usage between "sharp" and "honest", and a word "captivity". I thank him for always trying to teach me new things. The topic he gives me is always interesting and thought-provoking.

We finished reading an article about world's safest cities. It's easier to understand articles about culture comparing to other topics even there are some words I'm not familiar with. Also to know about foreign countries is always interesting. I enjoyed the lesson and I will try to remember words and expression Mark explained for me.

It was nice talking to you again, Mark. It was our first lesson in 8 months or so. Mark introduced me his new companion, a five-month old cat! She is incredibly cute! I read an article I chose from Forbs and Mark explained the meaning of some words and the article at large. Thanks to your help, I understood all the unfamiliar words! Thank you Mark. Today's lesson was very usuful as usual. He taught me new phrases and words. There was one phrase that was difficult for me to understand, but thanks to his precise explaination I was able to get it. Today, I asked Mark to let me know the information on Nobel Literature Laureate, Kazuo Ishiguro and he told me how wonderful the movie of his work, Remains of the day, is and his wrting style. Additionally, I asked the meaning of "alternative facts" and he explained it by using of the example of report of Trump's inauguration ceremony. I fully understood that it means fake news. Thank you very much, Mark, for your exciting lesson as always.

We talked about the gun crime that has happened in LasVegas. Ahthoug it was difficult for me to come up with some ideas to take steps to stop such heinous crimes by guns, it's a good chance to think about social problems in the world. Mark always provides me inspiring and exciting topics and gives me valuable hints to create ideas. See you next time.

I asked him to show me some photos of his garden which he's creating. I was amazed by that! It's beautifully created and doesn't look like a private garden. Today I didn't do any demanding tasks so next time I'd like to try to answering questions he asks. Thanks for the lesson, Mark. See you!

Hi Mark, it was good to see you again almost two months after the previous lesson. We exchanged lots of updates. Did you enjoy the summer thoroughly? I hope you did, as you told me it was almost autumn at your place. Even though winter surrounded by snow might be beautiful & solemn, I never want to take your place :p Save food and be prepared for hibernation!
