Today I asked Mark to be my guinea pig and practiced for my tour for tommorow. It was worse than I had expected. Mark encouraged me with warm words. It was very helpful that I was able to know which parts were unclear for a guest. I think his advice will do the trick tomorrow! See you soon, Mark!

I'm sorry for this late response.
We talked about the article reporting the plan to change adulthood age from 20 to 18 in Japan. He taught some my unknow words and expressions to increase my vocablaries and asked interesting questions. I made efforts to express my ideas and he suggested better phrases and sentences. Discussion was fun!
See you, Mark next time!

In today's lesson, I asked Mark to check my next speech. He shared his screen and made tweaks. I sometimes kick myself at my minor mistakes! I really thank him for his wonderful idea for the conclusion, because I was stuck when I was making my last part of the speech. I'm excited now, Mark! Thank you for your help, as always!

In this lesson we read an article which Mark prepared for the lesson entitled 'In Germany, the world's most romantic postbox'. The article was very interesting and I liked it. There were several words that I was not familiar with. But most of the words I could guess from a little clue by Mark.
Thank you for the interesting article and I'm looking forward for the next lesson. See you soon!

Today I read article of "Hometown Tax donation system". I also explained about gifts in return and the way we terminate gifts from someone who likes to give us too much. The person and I exchange New Years Greeting cards after that. It is normal.
I have expected today's topic would make us laugh, but it might be too strange. I hope I didn't make your image of Japan bad.
Thank you for your lesson!

We read an article entitled 'Airlines get tough after surge in requests for support pets'. It was very interesting article because boarding airpline with animals is not familiar in Japan. Mark helped me understanding the content better by describing me some words' meanings very clearly.
Thank you for picking up interesting article. See you soon.

Hi Mark, I hope you are enjoying Czech's chilly winter. In Japan, or at least at Tokyo, the cold seems to be loosened a bit, and people started to wear masks to avoid hay fever. Spring is sidling up.
I am wondering how winter is in North Korea. It must be colder than that in South Korea. Do they have good curling team too?

His lesson is always useful. I maybe write a same thing about his lessons, but I really thank his hardwork to make our lesson beneficial and interesting. I'm typically conventional so I enjoy talking with him because his thoughts sometimes make my mind unconventional. I'd like to reciprocate his effort not by giri chocolates but by improvement of my English skills. Thank you, Mark, as always!

I had an usuful lesson, as usual. I was going to try to read and summaraize an article about reserches on making humans to live longer in a helthy condition. But we ran out of time and didn't have time to organize my thoughts. His explanations were very specific and clear, easy to understand. I really appreciate his sincerity and kindness as always. I wish I could make a vow for him to become a fluent English speaker in a year! But I'm sure my English will improve gradually under his wonderful guidance. Thank you, Mark!
