 It was a fruitful lesson as always.
We talked about the article featuring whale meat vending machines.
It was unexpected for me that they sell well because I think most people
don't like the taste now. But nobody knows the future of the business.
Anyway I learned a various background for this topic.
Max taught me helpful words and expressions and corrected my pronunciation.

「デスパレートな妻たち」を使ったレッスンをお願いしました。
経験が豊富で、生徒のレベルによって教え方や内容を変えていらっしゃるのかなと思いました。
はっきりとゆっくり話してくださるので先生の英語はわかりやすいです。
間違えたところや新しい表現はタイプしてくださります。
私はオンラインレッスンをうけるのに緊張してしまいます。
同じことを何度も繰り返して言ったりうまく言葉がでてこなかったり・・
言語の習得はむずかしいなあ、とつくづく思います。

 彼女が日本に来て英語の先生になりたいというので日本の歌を教えてやりました。それをレッスン中に練習して聞かせてもらいました。”お爺さんの古時計”　おなじみの歌です。英語バージョンです。画面を見ながらくちずさんでいましたが、やや目が潤んでき、すすり泣きしはじめ、大涙を流し始めました。数週間前にお爺さんをなくしたばかりでした。もう心が癒えているだろうと思っていたがそうではなかったようです。歌はとても上手です。
75才のお爺ちゃん、彼女とのフリートークを楽しんでいます。

レッスン中以外で何かをしてくれ・・・　これはルール違反です。
歌の練習も必ずレッスンの時間内でやります。

 That was my second lesson with Mr. Leon T.
He is a gentleman from the UK.
As well as our first lesson, he encouraged me to keep speaking in English by making a positive atmosphere.
Thank you very much.

This time, I asked him a help of translation of a product name
as I thought that if I bring some topics, we can have a different conversation from the last time.
And it was true and I was able to learn new words and phrases.
