Frou always gives me an interesting topic and article. Today we talked about Syrian Civil War and refugees caused by the civil war. She gave me an article about a research result on the good effects of video games such as Minecraft towards Syrian refugee children. It stimulated me to consider Syrian Civil War, effects of video games and a game-based and playful approach to learning. I was excited to discuss them. Thank you for your interesting lesson, Frou. See you.

HI, Gabriel-san! This time we worked out the article about how flamingos stand on one leg. It was found attributed to the flamingo's anatomy. After this lesson, I got a take-home quiz about what makes me unique out of others, however, I couldn't make a succinct answer to you. Thank you very much!

Thank you for the lesson today. I prepared the summary of today's article so she checked it carefully and advised me some grammatical mistakes. After our lesson, she noticed some more mistakes so she corrected and sent me new one.

あえて日本語で書きます。
初めてレッスンをお願いしましたが、日本人が嫌いなのかな?と思うくらい笑顔が少なく、ちょっと残念なレッスンでした。
体調がよくないとのことでしたが、それにしても。。と思います。

His lesson was interesting and very instructive. I made a very short speech with struggles and after that he pointed out my wrong usages of words, and taught me appropriate ways or words using a chat box, which was helpful. The topic was very challenging for me but it was worth trying, because I was able to learn not only English but also various thoughts about organ transplant. Also he sent me a link related to the topic. Thank you, Mark. I'll definately book your class again!
