Today I read an article from Breaking News English. I did rephrasing exercise again with Dilhara. I learned the expresson "what is more", which seems quite useful. Maybe I will use it next time. Thank you Dilhara! I am looking forward to your next lesson!

I had very interesting conversation with Todd. We talked about the recent shooting in Las Vegas and had discussion about gun control and people's different view in the US and Japan. He shared many stories related gun control with me and it was very informative and thought provoking. Thank you very much!

It is always challenging for me to watch videos and discuss about them. But it is also a very good practice for me to improve my listening and speaking skills. Thank you so much,Grace. I always enjoy your lessons.

Today, we talked about the seasons of Osaka and North Carolina. Both are almost on the same latitude. We are going to have the season of autumn leaves. In Japan, they are very beautiful, and they are also so beautiful in the Appalachian Mountains. "Leaf peepers" drive from north to the south to enjoy the autumn leaves. It was another pleasant lesson. Thank you Monika!

We finished reading an article about world's safest cities. It's easier to understand articles about culture comparing to other topics even there are some words I'm not familiar with. Also to know about foreign countries is always interesting. I enjoyed the lesson and I will try to remember words and expression Mark explained for me.
Thank you for the lesson and I look forward to the next time. See you!

I like to hear the sounds of train. My parent’s home was far away from rail road, but I can see the train come and go far away over the paddy fields from my room. At the midnight, when I heard the diesel humming in my bed, I imaged the scene of the night train. The train was the gate of the big city. I felt great pleasure to hear the travel stories of my grandmother went to the big city by train, and enjoyed my imaginative travel to there. As I grown up, I live in Tokyo where I had admired. But strange to say that I miss my hometown as I get older.

Thanks Ara! We talked about lots of things.
And despite of my broken English, she guided well. Because of her, I can explain what I wanted to say smoothly. If I have chance, I do want to talk in person.

Today, we talked about mango ice cream, lechon, cheese cake, and adobo….But, they were all foods! Especially, I really appreciate your advice to cook lechon, but it is unfamiliar dish in Japan.
I really enjoyed drifting talks with you. Your drift technique is fun as usual.
Eventually, though we ate a lot of appetizer of talking, we could not reach at the main dish (on-line material) within double lessons :).
We enjoyed keeping on laughing during double lessons. Next, I will go toward the main dish! Thanks to your great teaching technique, I was talking English a lot without I know it. It may be the best way to improve English skill naturally. Thank you, Nix. See you soon!
