The lesson started with a typhoon, and then we talked about the election. Also I gave my idea about child rearing. It was a lot of fun, but challenging for me. I always appreciate Xandra's good questions. |

Bethan, thank you for the helpful tips to go around your hometown. Now I have lots of homework before the trip, reviewing works of graduates of the university - watching movies, reading books, etc. I hope you are not suffering much from the weakened pound during your stay in Japan. Or get most of it somehow :p |

Today's topic was about terms we can find at restaurants. Appetizer, starter, main course, entree, a la mode, a la carte etc. Those wards are much familiar to me, but I find it difficult to use them in daily conversation. I would like to practice naturally expressing the vocabulary. Thank you:) |

Thank you for your comment.sorry to replying you late because I access Eigox just today! I also very much enjoyed conversation with you. And also I impressed that the world is so near and easy to have connection to foreign people. I like the history and I was so glad teacher Todd listened to my not good English sincery and I feel his tender attitude to student. If we have a chance to talk with, let's talk about Star of David again! Thank you Todd !!!! |

Thank you for your lesson, my daughter really enjoyed talking with you over English food. She can understand English to some extent, but she doesn't have confidence to speak about herself. Thank you for encouraging her, and now she wants to try mint sauce! |

This will be her first time to take TOEFL jr. test. She needs at least 800 out of 900 to study in the course she wants to. Those are the hardest part for non native speakers. Each of them has 36 full score. Even if she loses two of them completely, she still have a chance to reach 800 as long as she can fully concentrate on reading section. I estimate her score will be 750~800. If she finds any dificulty useing computer, it will be less than that. This is another reason to have her take a test at this time. She is doing quite well, more than I expexted. |
