Today, we talked about the cottage garden design in England. Before the winter, there are a lot of tasks. You have to cut back the frost hardy perennials, and compost the dead annual flowers. And of course you have to remove terracotta pots into the greenhouse. But, you know, we Japanese adore the English garden. See you next! |

Hello Ruby! Thank you for the lesson(Wednesday pm1:00,October 18th,2017).The news said many young children don't like eating their greens because of their genes. The scientists found this fact by changing children`s genes. I wonder how can they change children`s genes. By the way, I think potage soup is a good meal for baby and child to familiarize to vegitable. See you again! |

Today was my first lesson by Ruby. She is smart and knowledgeable about the world situation though she is young. She gave me appropriate questions related to my stories which jumped all over the place and I could do speaking practice which I prioritize the most. I think her lessons will help students organize their thoughts well in a foreign language. So it was very fun and stimulative. She seems flexible to any topics and I found why she is popular among students of various ages. |

There are two young guys in my team. One guy always gets the high score in TOEIC test, but the other don’t. But when they talk to foreigner, lower score guys talks more frequently. His English isn’t fluent and accurate. But he can communicate better than high score guy. It seems that high score guy avoid the conversation with foreigner. I never talk he speaks with foreign people. In Japan, people regards the TOEIC score as the scale for the one’s English skill. But it isn’t always reflects the English conversation skill. In other words, when you get low score of TOEIC, it don’t always mean you are inferior of English communication. |
