She took our lesson as a substitution. We could see she was really new and unsure about the lesson detail, but her English was great and she was so nice and her teaching style was wonderful. Corrected our grammatical mistakes, asked for repetition/full sentences. We hope to have more lessons with her. Thank you so much for a great lesson, Dianne! |

Today I learned "flotsam and jetsam" (means useless items like garbages floating on the ocean surface), "port of call" (means first or last place to visit), "my hunch" (means my feeling, especially secretly nagging feeling),"latching on to" (means staying close to someone and staying with the person), "boisterous" (means noisy and energetic), etc. It was so fun reading the book with Katherine. She explained many words and expressions to me. Thank you Katherine. See you next week! |

When our lesson started, Mei-chan was lying next to Katherine very relaxed. Then she started listening to me reading the book "The Street Cat Named Bob". When we entered into Chapter 2, she started eating her late lunch. When our lesson started, my cats were sitting in front of a window looking outside. When I started reading the story they got out of my room. It seemed that they were not interested in today's James & Bob's story, or maybe they got scared hearing the word "vet" and run away. I enjoyed reading the book with Katherine. I'm looking forward to our next lesson. |

It was a so fun and meaningful lesson that I have felt an hour and a half was very short. I appreciate the opportunity for meaningful conversation prepared through each lesson. I think that having desire to share something is the driving force of English learning. |

At beginning, today's first topic was about Olympic. She's cheering for both countries. And talked about Russian misleading of US presidential election. At first, I couldn't believe such a case. We need to consider how to protect true democracy. |

Thank you for your lesson. We talked about "beauty" today. I think today's topic was a little difficult because the word beauty is abstruct. However, I did my best to talk about it and enjoyed your lessson. Bye! |
