The Winter Olympic Games finished. I`m touched by the games, but is It worth the cost host the Olympic games? Olympic brings a large boost to the economy, tourism and trips increase to the country. The costs will be paid back through turism, tickets and revenue through broadcast rights. Olympics are a festival of sports. It brings joy to our lives and give us hapiness and emotions, nevertheless, the money used to support The Olympics is usually wasted in useless and overpriced infrastructure projects which are normally underutilized once the Olympics are finished. Even so, I believed that Olympic Games are very important in our lives. |

Today, I watched the final men`s ice hockey game. It was my first time I had watched a ice hockey game. It was a close game, too close to catiml. The game had the extratime and was very exciting. I was so pumped up. In the lesson I could use the words and phrases as "sloppy","scruffy","rat`s net","cloud nine","It slipped my mind","bummed out","that`s how I roll","cigarette butt","shufflebutt","nibble","styrofoam","bubble wrap","cargo vessel","procrastinate","dwell on","refute","grunting","slowpoke","wander around","peeler","grave laddle","rice paddle","plunger","devoid","omit" and so on. Nina, What are you doing with a plunger? You should proceed to next class. (haha) I love having class with Nina. She tolerates my jokes and gags. Have a nice week. |

His lesson is always useful. I maybe write a same thing about his lessons, but I really thank his hardwork to make our lesson beneficial and interesting. I'm typically conventional so I enjoy talking with him because his thoughts sometimes make my mind unconventional. I'd like to reciprocate his effort not by giri chocolates but by improvement of my English skills. Thank you, Mark, as always! |

Thank you very much for your wonderful lesson. Today you and my daugther began the lesson with a free conversation. And then you did a guessing game(activity) with her which I asked you to. I really appreciate you always adjust your lesson to your student's level. In the second half of the lesson she did an activity with you on the text where you asked some simple questions and encouraged her to answer with a full sentence. |

Mei-chan was a bit grumpy today, probabry because of the chilly temperature. Sakura was sleeping when we started our lesson and later came into my room to check what's going on. She didn't seem interested in the Street Cat Named Bob and started taking a nap near the window. After the lesson, she made a complaint about me not stroking her while she was sleeping and I apologized. Hope my apology's accepted. Katherine, I hope you and Mei-chan will enjoy the rest of the day! |
