江戸時代に長崎で活躍したシーボルトについてお話ししました。奥さんのおたきさんの直筆の手紙が最近オランダの Leiden大学で発見されたそうですが、すごい発見ですね。あじさい（hydrangea)をおたきさんの名前にちなんでotaksaとシーボルトが名付けましたが、先生はこの話に感動しておられました。 |

We mainly talked about Tokyo Olympics. Two athletes from Uganda had PCR positive. The government didn't treat it very well, didn't quarantine the rest and let the rest proceed to Osaka. Also, the government didn't have consistent rules about Tokyo Olympics and athletes overseas are getting confused. Also, we talked about vaccination. I getting my shots next month. I prefer Pfizer because it has the least side effect. |
