We talked about a wide variety of topics, from the Tokyo Games to wineries in L.A. He seemed to follow Japanese news, which was really helpful having a fun conversation. I really enjoyed talking with him, but I brought up a touchy and flammable theme that would require attentiveness, and I really hope that my poor English didn't make me sound like a misogynist. Lol |

Today I got some feedback on grammar and vocabulary based on how I talked with her in a couple of recent lessons. She explained that star ratings are a kind of subjective evaluation for teachers, which may vary a lot between them, though such ratings are objective ones for students. Giving concrete feedback with her viewpoints on star ratings for each rating factor made lots of sense to me. She is a great tutor. Thanks. |
