Evelyn-sensei taught me how to pronounce letter “wh-”, “-sh”, “-ch”, “p-” which were difficult for me. She explained politely. Thanks so much. Also we shared how to make water more interesting or enjoyable. Her mother and I drink water with a spoonful lemon including citric acid. She send me a water picture floating lemon, cucumber and mint as a summer drink. I’d like to try make it someday. |

I‘m interested in Franz-sensei’s profile. He used to teach English at Japanese junior hight school and elementary school. I asked him the differences in English Education between the Philippines and Japan. He advised that Japanese students needed more conversation lessons than only writing for the tests. I totally agree with him. I got a lot of useful information from him. I look forward to meeting him again． |

An article we read discussed Myanmar's military dictatorship and its economic activity. Notably, even before the coup, the UN considered Tatmadaw's commercial operations an issue. According to the study, the military junta has used the earnings of its economic operations to conduct human rights atrocities. Therefore, it recommended that UN member states immediately impose sanctions on Tatmadaw-run enterprises and instead partner them with non-military companies. |
