We exchanged each country's culture about treating our deceased ancestors. It was difficult to explain Japanese tradition such as mortuary tablet and posthumous name.  Thank you for another great lesson, Mayumi-sensei today!
As we did in the previous lesson, I requested her to conduct a mock exam for the Eiken interview. I think I did pretty much better than I had done before. I could manage to keep on speaking without missing a beat because I had learned how to link things that I had prepared in advance to my speech. That's definitely how Mayumi-sensei's advice worked! Now I'm more confident than before taking her lessons. Also, the fact that I have about a month to go made some room in my heart.
By the way, the word I wanted to use in the lesson to refer to 改宗 was "convert". I wanted to say that I might convert my accent into the British one for the IELTS exams.
