Thank you for today's lesson, Bree. I learned "pike up" with another meaning. I feel like going to an appliance store to buy something, using English. |

Thanks to your kind instruction, I understood points where my English needs improvements. Also, we had a great time talking about education in South Africa. It was very interesting. I really look forward to your lesson and having this conversation with you, soon. |

I use to memorize 百人一首 when I was about my daughter's age. Most of them are about love or feeligs between a man and a woman. I still don't understand why students need to spend so much time to memorize that kind of stuff. We learn Abeno Nakamaro's one in Japanese history class. Onono Komachi, the three greatest beauty in the world (we say in Japan), her poem is also well known. |

As the lessoms I've had before, while reading aloud a few articles, I had my pronunciation checked. She not only gave me clear explanations on how I should correct but provided me with a good conversation model to practice natural English expression. Thanks to her great coaching, I've motivated to practice more. Thank you, Xandra! And take good care of yourself. See you next time. |
