She is complaing whiningly about up coming science test. I needed to wave my magic wand to give her some treats. Fortunately it worked and now she is working on her assignments hardly. She told me that she was going to study next weekend. Therefore I will book lessons for the first weekend of June. |

I'm not good at writing essays, because I need more practice for choosing proper vocabularies and building sentences. Max always indicates the worong points or the area for improvement in my essay and corrects them. |

Writing essays is difficult for me, because I haven't practice enough for choosing proper vocabularies and building sentences. Max always indicates the points for improvement and corrects them into proper ones. |

What we did today was very difficult for me. Firstly, it was not easy for me to think my opinion and it was impossible to tell my idea without thinking it in Japanese! It was a hard method. But I might try it again. Thank you for encouraging me, Max! You always try to make me feel comfortable! |

Samanthe and me worked on online material about Cannes Film Festival, VOA Learning English. I chose this article it seemed like interesting, but it was more difficult than I expected. I had Samantha make clear many words I had not been sure. And we talked about some beer festival from April to May in Japan. Samantha, I had a great time talking with you. See you next lesson! |

Speaking about eveyday events like I did today was fun and ...challenging. I've found another weakpoint of my English and would like to work on it: i.e., the lack of vocabrary in this type of casual English. As you pointed out, I agree that my English today was choppy today and look forward to working on this point in the future with you! |
