Elvira 先生はチューターになられて間もないようです。ダブルでとったので、話題は、オーストラリアの歴史、先住民、セルビアの英語教育、ご自分のロシア語通訳時代の経験など多岐にわたりました。ご自分も英語の教科書を出版なさっていらっしゃるということで、EFL としての英語教育とESLのそれとの違いについて議論が沸騰しました。途中で彼女の流れを止めないと、相手のペースにはまって聞くだけになってしまうので、必死で、自分のペースに持ち込み、話題を転換するようにしました。多少苦しかったですが、彼女のおかげで、自分の殻を破れたと思います。苦手な部分もありますが、継続的に授業を取れば、自分のキャパシティーが広がり像です。 |
