Today, we talked about the interesting article worth thinking, "choice for assisting dying". It's a story about 104 years-old scientist who chose assisting dying because he became unable to continue his study for his aging health condition. I was surprised to know that some countries allow people to choose assisting dying not only because of ultimately incurable diseases but of intension to voluntarily end their life and I learned there are more various ways of thinking about our life in the world, which broadens my horizons. Mark's questions expand my ideas and they are always stimuli to find new ideas. |
