The student was 5-year-old-boy and he doesn’t like to use a material. So Ken made a lesson fun as much as possible, which worked really well in having the student into the lesson. We really appreciate his passion, personality and patience. Thank you for the great lesson, Ken! |

Today, we talked about how to spend the new year's days. Describing our culture and life is good training. Gabriel knows very well about Japanese culture. I was surprised that when I talked about visiting shinres for prayers in New Year days,he knows Hachin shrines enshrine the god of war. I didn't know that. I can learn not only English but a variety of inforation including culture, history, art, economy, and social issues from Gabriel. That's gourgeous. Thank you very much for the inspiring lesson. See you next lesson. |

Today, I read the article about China's completely banning ivory trade, which would contribute to protecting the world elephant population. I asked the unfamiliar words and phrases and Mark explained them with easily understandable words. The Chinese government's drastical countermeasures for illegal trade of ivory would work well even though there is still a long way to go. This article is good for reading training because there are some difficult expressions for me. For example, "As the world commends China's leadership in a region rife with illegal worldlife trade, I can't help but be remained of enormity of the task that lies ahead,,. Mark helped me understand the meaning with his explanation. Thank you very much for giving me helpful and relevant articles and explanations as always. See you next time. |

The last paragraph of today's article reading included a lot of nice vocabraries. Again the interviewer mixed casual and business English so I can learn both! Max always leaves notes on what I learn in his review comment, which is very helpful to me to remember what I learned. I really appreciate it, Max. I wish you a wonderful new year 2018! |
