Mark chose me an interesting article from BBC as always. First, he explained my unfamiliar words and phrases such as "labor crunch","overhaul","replacement level","thin it down""scrupulous",,etc. He always kindly teaches the meanings until I fully understand with a variety of examples and different ways. Next time I'm looking forward to having discussion on this article. See you next time, Mark. |

Hi, anthony. Thank you for your cool lesson today. I was impressed by the morning sky I saw after the lesson. How beautiful the earth is! And we talk about it through the air! Actually, the network condition in my house hasn't been very well, and I've been trying to find the cause. As soon as it's fixed, I'd like to book you. Let me know about inside the earth. See you later. |

Thank you for the nice lesson! Today I read a story of "The Boss Dog of Blossom street (chapter 3)." It was a good story. I learned "whisper" "pretend" "curled up" "pricked up" "headline" "rubbish" "trotted" and "snoop." |

Hi Kathryn, it has been a while since our lesson, but Mr. Ghosn is still under custody by Japanese police. At first I thought things would settle down soon, and he would be freed to go back to France. However, things did not go as I thought... It is controversial if what he did was actually illegal or not, but it would be harsh for him to spend Christmas in foreign jail. I hope someone will come up with some diplomatic solution... |

Hi Vlada, I think I informed you that there were lots of reports that some angry wives sold husbands' collections without consent, and for cheap. I googled and found similar stories were told world-widely. For example, this: https://www.gamezone.com/news/idiot-wife-sells-husband-s-1-000-collection-of-famicom-games-for-pennies-on-the-dollar-before-going-on-a-shopping-spree-for-herself-3447160/ Watch out, and take care of your collections! |

Thank you for the lesson. We had a lively conversation. I told you that excitedly. I heard that you ate shio ramen. I thought I wanted you to eat real Japanese shio ramen. I like tonkotsu ramen better than shio ramen though. And then we talked about Tokyo Olympic. The Olympic article made me think about various things. See you next lesson. |

Mark-sensei checked my essay. His advice was always useful. I hope that it will help me improve my English writing. Then we had a discussion about the article which he sent to me. The lesson like this is surely one of the effective ways of learning a foreign language. |
