My son was actively engaged with the lesson because of the ice breaking at the beginning. Charles kept attracted his attention by giving him questions and made him respond. It was a very useful lesson. |

Thank you for your lesson. She is kind and patient so that I am relieved and talked freely. Sometimes, she taught useful expression but she didn’t cut conversation and it was professional. I hope to have your lesson again |

We talked about cherry blossoms I went to see with my parents. It was too early to go on a picnic under cherry blossoms and we could barely see cherry blossoms. We also talked about the effect of the war Russia and Ukraine. Sanctions against Russia are to freeze bank accounts and stop a trade with Russian companies. China is trying to help Russia, but has to be careful because it is going to hurt itself. In the United States, the price of gas almost doubled and having meals at restaurants is getting more expensive. In Japan, we tend to get similar effects. Gas and things at a supermarket are getting more expensive. At some restaurants, ingredients are getting more expensive so they need to raise the price of their products. At AMAZON, I see some products are hard to import and I have cancel an order. We also talked about an emergency list. The list includes water, portable gas stove, rice, dry food which taste like comfort food. |

It’s fun talking with Emily. Every time when I have her lesson, her beautiful smiles make me happy! I always struggle to find a good way to how to explain. She supports me to change into an easy way and natural sentences. I love how she supports me. Thank you Emily! |

Before starting today's article about digital detox, we shared some interesting topics such as nicknames and other terms of endearment, and cultural practices related to marriage and divorce. Heather also taught me some new words and phrases, as well as their origins. Thanks a lot, and see you next time. |
